After upgrading to 6.3.x, the Assets app crashes when iterating on a big dataset

Description

When Scrolling through the Dam apps with only magnolia assets the customer experiences a significant performance issue and and a crash

Culprits:
Investigate each possible culprit to see if it’s indeed causing the issue

  1. Imaging as stated by Sasha on slack there could be Slack convo

  2. Cache issue
    As stated in by the customer the could be a cache issue that takes a lot for the thumbnails to be displayed

  3. Big dataset
    With the first 2 out the question Investigate if with a big enough dataset with images and thumbnails and some folders as stated in the video there could be performance issues that we introduced with 6.3

As a quick fix for this bug, the partial revert of the related ticket is done (see related PR: https://gitlab.magnolia-platform.com/pd/platform/ui/-/merge_requests/3019). After this the png thumbnails will be again rendered using imaging module with proper server-side caching applied (as well as in the browser). This will cause minor regression of the visuals of thumbnails with alpha-layer. The proper solution for the regression has to be done in the scope of the re-opened MGNLUI-8938.
